Fast response keeps a bad day from turning into a total loss
A compromised commercial roof does not wait for a business day. Water finds electrical rooms, damages inventory, contaminates insulation, and shuts down operations within hours. Our disaster restoration service exists so that call goes to a commercial roofer who can be on-site fast, get the building weather-tight, document the damage for your carrier, and rebuild the roof to spec — without handing you off between three different contractors.
Roofs Inc. has been the commercial disaster-response contractor for West Texas and eastern New Mexico buildings since 2005. Warehouses, schools, medical facilities, retail, oilfield service buildings — we’ve dried them in, documented them, and put permanent roofs back on them.
- 24/7 emergency call line for active commercial-building leaks
- Emergency tarp, shrink-wrap, and mechanical dry-in options
- Moisture surveys and infrared scans to find hidden saturation
- Full documentation package for your insurance carrier
- Permanent restoration handled by our own in-house crews
What disaster restoration covers
Every event is different. These are the loss types our commercial disaster response team most often handles across the Permian Basin, South Plains, and eastern New Mexico.
Hail & Wind Loss
Severe-storm damage to membrane, coping, edge metal, and rooftop equipment. Documented for insurance and repaired to spec. See our storm damage service.
Fire & Smoke Damage
Structural assessment of the deck, insulation, and membrane after a building fire. Coordination with structural engineers as required.
Catastrophic Membrane Failure
Wind uplift, seam separation, ballast blow-off, or system-wide failure — stabilized fast, then restored or replaced.
Water Intrusion Events
Interior damage from HVAC failures, clogged drains, ponding-water breakthrough, or plumbing above the roof deck.
Impact & Mechanical Damage
Equipment drops, tree strikes, construction-related damage, and other one-off events that punch through the membrane.
Post-Loss Reconstruction
When restoration turns into full replacement, we transition the project to our commercial roof replacement team without changing contractors.
Our disaster-response workflow
Same sequence every time so nothing slips between the emergency and the permanent fix.
01. Call Received
Live pickup 24/7 for commercial buildings. Basic triage, mobilization window confirmed on the call.
02. On-Site Stabilization
Emergency dry-in, tarping, mechanical fastening, and drainage clearance to stop further loss.
03. Damage Documentation
Photos, drone imagery, moisture scans, and a written scope for your carrier. We meet the adjuster on-site.
04. Permanent Restoration
Full repair or replacement performed by our own crews, warranty registered in your name at close-out.
One contractor, cradle-to-close-out
Most disaster jobs collapse at the handoffs. The emergency service does not talk to the roofer. The roofer does not talk to the adjuster. The building owner runs the coordination themselves and gets billed by three companies. That is not how we work.
Roofs Inc. keeps the entire cycle — first call, dry-in, documentation, adjuster meetings, permanent restoration, and warranty registration — inside one commercial roofing contractor. You get a single project manager, a single scope, and a single point of accountability.

Disaster restoration — frequently asked questions
For active leaks on commercial buildings across the South Plains and Permian Basin, we target same-day mobilization when the call comes in during business hours, and next-business-day for after-hours calls unless the loss is catastrophic. Cities further out (eastern New Mexico) are typically next-business-day.
Properly executed emergency work does not void a manufacturer warranty. We document every fastener, patch, and temporary component so the restoration crew and the manufacturer's inspector can confirm warranty continuation at close-out.
Yes. We document the loss, meet the adjuster on the roof, and coordinate the scope directly with your carrier. See our insurance claim assistance page.
When the assessment shows the roof is not restorable, we transition the job to a full commercial roof replacement without changing contractors. The scope, warranty tier, and pricing come back to you in writing.
